If you are a university student, take advantage of Expanish University Credit to learn Spanish in Buenos Aires.

Earning University Credit with Expanish Spanish Programs in Buenos Aires

Expanish has partnered with UAI (Universidad Abierta Interamericana) to offer university credit for our Spanish classes to any student who participates in our programs. For every 10 hours of group classes, students can receive 1 university credit. Students can also expect to receive a diploma and a university transcript upon completion of a program.

This may not equate to exactly one credit at their home university as this depends on the university requirements and if they are on a semester, trimester or quarter system. We recommend students to confirm the exact credit received with their study abroad department.

Who Should Sign Up for University Credit?

Many Expanish students decide to take Spanish programs in Argentina with university credit to further their education outside of the college classroom.

If you have decided to take a Spanish course abroad and think this will make a wonderful addition to your trip and your academic future, then Expanish’s University Credit program is for you. If you have been searching for a way to earn credit while having a fun experience, meeting people from all over the world, and learning a new language, then the Spanish programs abroad with university credit is the right fit.

How it Works

  • Step 1: Many universities will provide direct credit if you make plans in advance. You can speak with the Spanish Department or Study Abroad office at your local university for information regarding credit transfer. If the person you speak with needs any information about our curriculum or programs, we would be happy to speak with them directly.
  • Step 2: After we have ensured that your credits will transfer correctly, you can book and complete the payment for the Spanish programs in Buenos Aires with university credit. Then the rest is in the hands of Expanish!
  • Step 3: At the end of your language studies, you will receive a course certificate stating the number of hours of lessons you completed, your level of Spanish according to the Cervantes Institute guidelines, and your course dates. Our staff will then send the grade received and confirm the hours and attendance straight to your university.
