What Is an Accreditation?

An accreditation is a form of quality assurance. It is a process whereby a Spanish school is checked to make sure it meets certain standards. Accredited bodies exist to protect Spanish students and ensure they receive the highest quality service from schools. An accrediting body is an organization that checks schools and awards accreditation once it is satisfied that quality standards have been met. We want to make sure you know our Expanish accreditations in Barcelona.

Accreditation is an internationally-recognized mark of quality and only the schools offering the best service become accredited schools. When accrediting bodies check a Spanish school they make sure it has:

  • Qualified Spanish language teachers
  • School premises with properly-equipped classrooms, lounge areas, and a comfortable learning environment
  • Accommodation that is regularly inspected for safety and suitability
  • 24-hour supervision of young students on junior programs
  • Advertising and marketing that accurately represents the service it provides

Why Choose an Accredited School?

Choose an accredited school to ensure that you receive the highest standard of service, professional care, and teaching. Choosing an accredited school also means that the institution is considered authentic by immigration officials. In some cases, student visas are granted only to students attending accredited Spanish schools.

Accredited schools are re-evaluated every few years, and each year a selection of accredited schools, chosen at random, undergo unannounced interim visits. This means that accredited schools must maintain the highest of standards at all times.
