Funding Your Expanish Experience
Going abroad is a unique, life-changing experience and we want as many students as possible to have this opportunity. Here at Expanish, we provide high-quality support services at the most economical price for our students. One of the factors that makes our programs so cost-effective is that we provide completely customizable experiences, so students only pay for the services they need.
In addition to accepting all forms of financial aid students may receive from their home university, Expanish is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to all students participating in one of our individual programs.
Explore Our Scholarships
We offer two types of scholarships, financial aid and an ambassador scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements:
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Must be 18 years or older at the start of the program.
Must be enrolled in a U.S. higher education institution
Open to all majors and fields of study.
Purpose: Designed to support students with demonstrated financial need who are motivated to study abroad.
Award:
US$1,000 toward tuition for a Summer Session or Summer Internship Program.
Valid at any Expanish destination.
Application Requirements:
Proof of financial aid (official letter from home university/college OR bank statement showing awarded aid).
Two short essay questions (max 250 words each):
Why do you want to study abroad?
How will studying Spanish abroad benefit your future and personal growth?
Purpose: For students who want to share their study abroad journey and inspire others.
Award:
US$300 toward tuition for a Summer Session or Summer Internship Program.
Valid at any Expanish destination.
Application Requirements:
Commitment to submit at least two pieces of content (during or after the program). This may include:
Blog posts, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube videos, or Other creative formats (your ideas are welcome!)
Provide links to social media profiles and/or personal content portfolio.

Applications for 2026 are due February 7, 2026 and decisions will be made February 18, 2026. Successful applicants will have until March 2027 to make use of their scholarship |
