If you have ever thought about volunteer programs in South America, Expanish offers a number of volunteering opportunities to add to your Spanish program in Argentina.

Spanish & Volunteer

Expanish has partnered with NGOs and volunteer programs in Buenos Aires that are looking for passionate volunteers who are ready to make a difference in the Argentine community. Working with these organizations provides a unique way to experience the city while practicing your Spanish in real-life situations.

How Argentina Could Use Your Help

Why Volunteer in Buenos Aires? Following the economic crisis of 2001 and the devaluation of the Argentine peso, Argentina has been enduring systemic challenges like increased poverty and a lack of funding for public services. Many organizations have stepped up to try to improve the quality of life of those in need. However, many of these groups are under-staffed and underfunded, requiring the help of committed volunteers.

Despite the hardships, Buenos Aires remains a beautiful capital city rich in both Latin American and European cultural influences. From the lively streets of La Boca to the chic waterside district of Puerto Madero to the tango-inspired and bohemian San Telmo neighbourhood, Buenos Aires offers an ideal environment for your unique Spanish and volunteer experience in Argentina.
