Our summer study abroad programs deliver the same academic quality and cultural depth as our longer-term options, condensed into a flexible format ideal for U.S. university summer breaks.

Each summer session integrates classroom learning with hands-on cultural experiences, encouraging students to connect coursework with real-world context.

Our research programs pair you with local university faculty and institutions in your discipline, so you continue your research in an international context, earn transferable credits, and develop Spanish alongside it.

Expanish started as a Spanish language school and that's still at the core of what we do. Take our intensive Spanish program on its own, stack it onto a semester or internship, or use it to get ahead before your main program starts. New cohorts begin every month of the year, in every city we operate.

Our Spanish programs offer:

Spanish courses can be taken independently or alongside a study abroad, internship, or research program, giving you the flexibility to strengthen your language skills in an immersive setting.

All levels welcome, from absolute beginner to advanced. Small classes (multicultural classrooms). Accredited instruction that meets U.S. credit standards.

Expanish accepts all types of U.S. financial aid: FAFSA, institutional grants, study abroad scholarships, and private loans, toward any of our academic programs. We also offer the annual Expanish Scholarship: $1,000 off your program fees, applied directly to your balance. Because we own our study centers directly, our program pricing doesn't include the middleman markup that larger providers charge.

Every Expanish city has a local emergency contact number and an on-site student services team reachable around the clock. Before you arrive, we send a full pre-departure safety guide. When you land, there's airport pickup and a neighborhood orientation so you know your area before you're on your own. Our staff grew up in these cities, they know the hospitals, pharmacies, and what to do in a real emergency.
