With 24 hours of intensive classes per week, cultural activities, and full support from our on-site teams, this program offers a complete short term study abroad experience in Spain: available in Barcelona, Madrid, and Málaga.
If you want to improve your Spanish quickly, explore life in a new city, and earn university credit, the Intensive Month program is designed for you.
Program Requirements
To enroll in the Intensive Month Program in Spain, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old by the program start date
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Be a current college/university student (Freshman–Senior)
- No Spanish required (beginners welcome!)

Looking for something more customized? Many students build a personalized program by spending one month in each Expanish school across Spain.

The Intensive Month program begins every month of the year (except June). Students can join individually or in coordinated groups, and spaces fill quickly, especially in high season.

Each month you are abroad with Expanish you will earn 6 university credits while moving up in Spanish skills. If you stay for 3 months, you'll earn 18 credits!
