Real-World Experience

Intern 20–30 hours per week in a position aligned with your interests and career goals. With opportunities in 11 different professional fields, you’ll develop practical skills in an international work environment.

Internships are offered in both English and Spanish, so you can choose your comfort level and focus.

Academic Framework

Your internship is supported by our Global Internship Seminar, an online course covering.

You can earn university credit based on your total internship hours:

  • 3 credits = 120 hours

  • 6 credits = 246 hours

Optional Spanish Classes

Want to sharpen your Spanish while in Valencia? Interns can enroll in evening Spanish classes (non-credit), a valuable way to boost your language skills and enrich your experience abroad.

Internship Placement Process
1 - Initial Interview Meet with our internship coordinator and narrow down your career interests and professional goals.
2 - Interview with Potential Placement Sites Our internship coordinator will select relevant companies interested in your profile to interview with. Once there is a match, you are all set!
3 - Orientation and Supervision Receive a comprehensive on-site orientation at our study center before your program starts and participate in evaluations and check-ins throughout your program to assure a positive experience!
4 - Start Your Summer Internship Develop your professional skills in your internship and improve your Spanish with our evening course, included in the program fees.
