Holis! We are Lis and Sarah and we are two fourth year students from UC Davis (Go Ags!) and we recently completed a study abroad semester program covering Human Rights and Cultural Memory in Argentina and Chile. As proud daughters of immigrants and first generation college students, we know how scary the idea of studying abroad can be, so we wanted to share our experience to help ease any doubts and to encourage more students like us to go abroad!
Tal Recht, a student at Indiana University Bloomington, took a bold decision to strike out on his own and spend several months studying in Argentina. Now he says it was one of the best choices he's ever made. Here Tal tells the story of how he chose Buenos Aires as a study abroad destination and what the experience has been like.
Sam and Vivian, two college students from California, met during their study abroad program with Expanish in Buenos Aires. They soon became great friends while learning about Argentina's cultural history and discovering the delights of Buenos Aires.
