DELE Preparation can be taken on its own, or as an addition to our Intensive Spanish 20 program: general Spanish group classes for half the day, plus individual DELE preparation lessons.
Preparing for the DELE
Levels, 2026 exam dates and what to expect on test day, everything you need to plan your DELE preparation.
Find your level, from A1 to C2
Students can sit for one of 6 DELE levels, from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C2). In general, you should already have the Spanish level you want to test for. Total beginners typically need around 8 weeks of lessons before sitting the A1 exam.
We assist with your exam registration
Expanish is not an official DELE testing center. We assist with the registration process at an official testing center, in your country or elsewhere.
Mark your exam date
The DELE exam is typically offered 7 times a year, though not every level is offered on every date.
February 13, registration by January 7: A2
April 17, registration by February 25: A2 (Spain only)
May 22, registration by April 8: A1, A2/B1, B2/C1
May 23, registration by April 8: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2

The exam fee is not included in the course price and varies depending on the level and the country where the exam is taken.
Preparing for the SIELE
Scoring, format and cost, everything you need to know before you sit the SIELE.
Four skills, one score
The SIELE exam has 4 separate sections: reading comprehension, oral comprehension, written expression and interaction, and oral expression and interaction. Each section is scored from 0 to 250 points, and the score has a CEFR equivalence (for example, a score of 120 on the reading comprehension test is equivalent to B1).
100% digital, flexible scheduling
Expanish defines exam dates, typically on Fridays.
The SIELE can also be taken at any time and is 100% online. You sit for the exam at Expanish at the end of your preparation course.
Prepare and test in the same place
Expanish is an official SIELE Center: you prepare and take the exam in the same place.
What it costs, what you get
SIELE exam fees vary depending on the modality and the country where you take it.
Results are valid for 5 years after taking the exam.
