Expanish brings its Spanish immersion summer program to Sámara, a laid-back beach town on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. Learn Spanish, ride the waves and live the pura vida lifestyle alongside international students from around the world.

Spanish Immersion & Pura Vida in Sámara

Our boutique Young Adults program (16–20) blends Spanish immersion with beach-sports and cultural adventure in Sámara. Small classes, a brand-new beachside residence, and weekly life-skills workshops add up to stronger Spanish, new friends from around the world, and a taste of Costa Rica's "pura vida."

Designed for ages 16–20, with a 24/7 emergency helpline.

Overnight students in Costa Rica can choose between a local homestay or our brand-new student residence, both just minutes from the beach and the school.

Homestay

For a more immersive experience, live with a local host family in Sámara, share two meals a day, and practice Spanish daily outside the classroom.
