At Expanish, we know that where you live is a big part of your study abroad experience - that’s why all of our housing options are carefully selected, safe, and designed to support your comfort, independence, and cultural immersion.
Homestays are matched through a thorough vetting process and are regularly monitored to maintain high standards.
Student residences are inspected regularly and re-approved for safety, cleanliness, and community standards.
Shared apartments are located in safe, student-friendly neighborhoods, close to public transport and city amenities.
Housing by Destination
Students stay exclusively with local host families for a full cultural and language immersion experience.
Includes half-board (breakfast & dinner) and a welcoming, supportive environment.
Choose between:
Homestay with breakfast & dinner included
Studio apartments, which may be private or shared with one other student
All housing is within a safe commuting distance from the Expanish Study Center.

What to Expect
Housing placements are sent out 2 weeks before your program begins
In homestays, you may be placed solo or with another Expanish student
In shared apartments or residences, you’ll live with international students
Overnight guests are not allowed in any housing options for safety and policy reasons
