Barcelona Summer Internship

Interns will be placed in a customized internship placement in the area of your choice. You will be provided with meaningful work that aligns with your professional goals and develops desired skills.

Internship Program Details
June 1, 2025 - July 26, 2025
Interns will work about 6 hours per day from Monday to Friday.
Study Spanish twice a week at our center and attend 4 Internship Seminars on topics like goal setting and intercultural competence.
No professional experience required, but ideally with studies related to the internship area. No Spanish is necessary.
Free weekly cultural activities, housing assistance, 24/7 emergency support services, up to 8 semester university credits

Internship Placement Process
Meet with our internship coordinator and narrow down your career interests and professional goals.
Our internship coordinator will select relevant companies interested in your profile to interview with. Once there is a match, you are all set!
Receive a comprehensive on-site orientation at our study center before your program starts and participate in evaluations and check-ins throughout your program to assure a positive experience!
Develop your professional skills in your internship and practice your Spanish during our evening course, included in the program fees.
Academics & Credits
Expanish provides official credit for all courses taken with us. All university summer interns can choose to receive a U.S.-based transcript for the language courses they complete with us. Our robust curriculum, evaluated by our School of Record, ensures that all of our students experience a fully immersive educational journey.
Evening Course
Accelerate your Spanish by applying what you learn in class to your internship. In this course you will improve your Spanish with activities that focus on the key language skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. We teach in small study groups to encourage participation and use quality textbooks and materials created by our academic staff.
