A Summer Intensive in Buenos Aires
Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Buenos Aires while improving your Spanish this summer. Our Summer Intensive Spanish Language Study Abroad Program in Buenos Aires offers a focused, dynamic 4-week experience designed to accelerate your language skills in Argentina’s cultural capital.
With 24 hours of Spanish instruction per week, 20 hours of General Spanish and 4 hours of Intensive Academic Writing, you’ll gain fluency, refine your grammar, and develop academic writing skills in just one month.
Classes are held at our centrally located Expanish Study Center, where you’ll learn through a mix of language lessons and academic-focused writing.

4 Hours – Intensive Academic Writing
Experience the city firsthand through cultural activities, guided neighborhood tours, tango and fútbol experiences, museum visits, and sampling Argentine cuisine—all while practicing your Spanish in real-world setting.

By the end of the program, you’ll feel more confident speaking Spanish and equipped with essential academic writing skills. Whether you’re continuing your studies or preparing for a global career, this experience will set you apart.
Program Structure
In this program, you’ll take one Intensive Spanish Language course at the Expanish Study Center in Buenos Aires. Classes run Monday through Friday with a total of 24 contact hours per week.
Course Components
20 hours – General Spanish Build your skills in grammar, conversation, listening, reading, and practical communication, giving you confidence to speak Spanish in everyday situations and cultural experiences.
4 hours – Intensive Academic Writing Strengthen your academic Spanish by learning essay structure, argument development, formal language, research-based writing, and grammatical accuracy—preparing you for university-level coursework.

No, this program does not require a student visa
Westminster University serves as our U.S. school of record, making it simple for students to transfer credits to their home institution.
Students will receive a transcript issued by Westminster University for all Expanish courses and internship credits. Transcripts must be requested and paid for directly through Westminster.
