Expanish is Coming to Malaga in 2023!

Here at Expanish we're thrilled to announced that we will be opening a new language school in the city of Malaga in April 2023. This will be the fifth one in our network, adding to our existing centers in Barcelona, Madrid and Buenos Aires. We can't wait to say... ¡Hola Málaga!

It will be located on Plaza del Siglo in Malaga's historic center, just one block from the city's 15th century Cathedral. This is one of the nicest areas of the city, full of restaurants, cafés and famous monuments from Malaga’s rich and layered history. It’s the perfect place to explore the city’s cultural and culinary offerings, while the most popular beaches are just a 15-minute walk away.

“We’re really excited to open our fifth language school, one of the most dynamic and fashionable cities in Southern Spain," says Expanish director Agustin Vignale. "From top-class museums to traditional Andalusian culture and fantastic Mediterranean beaches, the city has so much to offer study abroad students.”

Our team on the ground - led by Canela, our new General Manager in Malaga - is busy with preparations so that we can open the new center on April 24th. The facilities are being completely remodeled with the help of a local design company, maintaining a focus on sustainability and the use of locally-sourced materials. Once finished, the new school will have six bright and modern classrooms, a student common room and wheelchair access.

New Location, Same Premium Service

Expanish Malaga will offer the same range of immersive courses as our existing schools. Our students in Malaga will have a choice of housing options within walking distance of Expanish, including a homestay with a local family, individual and shared apartments, and rooms in a student residence. They will also be able to join in up to four free social activities per week, where they can learn about Malagueño culture and customs and making new friends.

“Our students will be able to dive into traditional Andalusian culture with our truly immersive Spanish courses. Our team on the ground is working hard to ensure we’re ready to offer students a memorable language-learning experience on the Costa del Sol from 2023."

Did you know….Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world. With over 460 million native Spanish speakers across the globe, it’s no secret that learning Spanish can increase your job prospects and make communication while traveling a whole lot simpler. The most recommended way to learn a foreign language is to study abroad in a Spanish speaking country and fully immerse yourself in the culture and language. Taking Spanish classes in Argentina in the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires is a great way to throw yourself into the language learning experience and connect with some 3 million of those native Spanish speakers.
